BacInTyme Coffee Cafe, Fort Mill, SC

Fort Mill, SC:  BacInTyme Coffee Cafe, Fort Mill, SC has officially closed its doors, after five years in the making.  Per Georgia Harper Ehrenberg, founder/owner, BacInTyme did not have the desire to renew the lease after a private investor took a different direction in terms of buying the cafe.  Hence, the building is being occupied by a new tenant, soon.

BacInTyme had the honor and priviledge of serving thousands of visitors throughout the Carolinas, as well as travelers from around the world while open to the public, stated Ehrenberg.  In addition to, loyal staff members over the years, family and friends - BacInTyme was a true adventure to say the least.  We are grateful for everyone's support.   For Ehrenberg, exploring all the possibilities is a good thing.  No one will ever know, especially an entrepreneur, what a dream or vision feels like until you do it.  Ultimately, the purpose of BacInTyme was to fill a void in the community, or just one person's life.

As active as we were in the community, Ehrenberg continued, from catering to the world of art and entertainment, to holding a private birthday party - - the most rewarding experience was when people returned to the cafe to share their stories with us and what it felt like to "step out in faith".  Working with churches throughout the Carolinas proved beneficial too, in terms of decreasing the communication barriers.  By sharing resources, gifts, talents and skills.  We all have issues do we not?  Issues that can be resolved, where strength prevails.  Not the opposite.

In ending, BacInTyme was not your normal coffee shop.  It became a melting pot (or some say portal), for people from all walks of life.  Whatever your passion is, Ehrenberg said, be prepared to give 210% of yourself.   Not only was BacInTyme built with a lot of energy, but it was built for the community.

What's next for Ehrenberg?  She recently became engaged to Derek Patterson, owner, Stellar Remodeling, Charlotte, NC.  Ehrenberg's plan is to work close with her future husband, as well as spend more quality time with her children and grandchildren.
