 Mr. Engstrom was born in Bay City, Michigan, and was a resident of Lake Wylie, S.C. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Charlotte.  He was active in church related activities and was the Men's Bible Class teacher for many years, was a life member of the church council and served on many boards and committees related to its ministries. He also served on the board of Loaves and Fishes and served as it's president. A registered Engineer, Mr. Engstrom retired after 30 years service with the Dow Chemical Company, having served in various technical and marketing positions. Mr. Engstrom also served his country as an infantryman with the 3rd Marine Division during World Was II and received the Purple Heart for multiple wounds received on Iwo Jima.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Hazel Hickey Engstrom.

This auction includes the contents of their River Hills Plantation home: furniture, glassware, sterling, tools, yard ornamentals, pottery, art work, kitchen ware, small appliances, books, china, crystal and more.
